An Internet Income Opportunity Matrix For Finding The Best Keywords
If you’re trying to take advantage of an internet income opportunity by building small websites that attracts lots of free traffic from the search engines, than I’ve found a new tool that I want to share with you. It’s called the Money Word Matrix.
As you know, choosing the right keywords for your websites is vitally important. You want words that you can easily get ranked high on Google for. The words need to receive a significant amount of traffic, yet, not be too competitive. That’s what the Money Word Matrix will help you do. Take a look at it:
As you can see, on the left hand side you look for the number that Google’s Keyword Tool displays for the total number of global searches for a keyword on a monthly basis. Across the top, you look for the number of competitors that Google’s Search Tool displays tor that keyword. Using those numbers, the matrix will tell you if that keyword is a good one to use.
If you don’t use the super tool called Market Samurai, you could use the Money Word Matrix along with Bing’s Detecting Online Commercial Intention Tool to find super keywords to use for your websites. Let me show you an example.
Let’s say that I wanted to create a website and promote a product that helps to stop dogs from barking.
If I go to Google’s Keyword Tool and I enter phrase “stop dog barking”, I get the following results:
“Stop dog barking” receives about 90,500 searches on a monthly basis – nearly 3,000 per day. Next, I want to find out if “stop dog barking” has any commercial value.
Why? Because if the keywords that I want to use for my website are not likely to be used by “buyers”, than it would be pointless to use those words to promote my product. I want traffic that’s willing to buy, and not just visitors.
So, I take my potential keyword to Bing’s Detecting Online Commercial Intention Tool and I enter it in there. I got the following results:
Pow!! Not very good – not at all. The phrase “stop dog barking” shows a 54% probability that it would be used by “lookers”, and not buyers. So, I better look for another keyword phrase.
Going back to Google’s Keyword Tool, I found another phrase further down the list – “dog bark control”. Here, take a look at it:
That phrase receives about 18,100 searches per month. That’s less than the first one, but it’s still about 600 searches per day. Let’s see what kind of commercial value Bing’s tool will give this potential keyword.
That’s GOOD! Bing estimates that there is a 99% chance the phrase “dog bark control” would be used by potential buyers. That’s the type of words that I want to use for my website!
Now, the last test. Let’s see how well this term fits into the Money Word Matrix.
First, I go to Google’s Search Tool and I enter the keyword into it using phrase match (be sure to use “phrase” match – much more accurate results). Here’s what I got:
Google is telling me that the term “dog bark control” has 18,400 competing pages. That’s a lot, but not terribly bad.
I take this information along with the number of Google searches done for this potential keyword and I fit them into the Money Word Matrix. I got the following results:
As you can see, the Matrix identifies this potential keyword as a Good choice. Now, this term has passed my commercial value test and the Money Matrix test. It’s a good keyword to use for creating my internet income opportunity website – I just need to find three or four more.
Use this method to help you identify better key words for your websites. You want to find keywords that will give you plenty of traffic, have commercial value, and not too much competition.

Another Internet Income Opportunity Trick
| One of the most common questions that I get asked is, “Where can I find an affiliate program that I can make money on?” That’s a question that I get asked a lot! There are a number of answers to that question, but let me show you a trick on finding an internet income opportunity. |  |
If you’ve done any article marketing, then you are familiar with Ezinearticles, Squidoo, Hubpages and a host of other article marketing sites. What’s great about these sites is that Google’s search engine loves them. You don’t even need a website to get your articles ranked high on Google. Just post your well-written articles to these sites (and include your affiliate links) and you’re likely to get a lot of visitors because Google will likely give your article a high ranking.
Use this to take advantage of an internet income opportunity!
Here’s the trick. Go to these article marketing sites and search for “HOT” articles that are promoting affiliate products. These “HOT” articles will not only show you what affiliate products they are promoting, but these articles will also show you the keywords that are “HOT”.
| For example (and this example took me only 5 minutes to do), I went to Hubpages and I clicked on TOPICS towards the top of the page. Then, I clicked on |  |
GAMING, TOYS, and HOBBIES, then COMPUTERS and VIDEO GAMES, and finally on VIDEO WARGAMING.
One of the “HOT” articles displayed there was an article titled Play War Of Titans Online Game. Reading this article, I could tell that the keywords for this article were “War of Titans Online Game”. These words appeared in the first and last paragraphs of the article and a number of other times throughout the article.
Next, I clicked on the links to see what was being sold. They were all war games and they were all being sold through Amazon. It’s easy to become an affiliate for Amazon!
Now, I wanted to find out how many times the keywords “War of Titans Online Game” are searched for on Google, so I went to Google’s keyword tool and I got the following results:
Those words are searched on Google about 880 times per month – not enormous, but that’s still 25-30 times per day.
Next, I wanted to know how much competition those keywords would have on Google. I got the following results:
Only 7 competing pages – that’ it! There was virtually no competition for those keywords on Google. Furthermore, because Google loves Hubpages so much, our Hubpage article was ranked #1!
What’s great about this is that most article submitters to these article marketing sites don’t build any links to the articles that they submit – they rely upon the strength their articles get in the search engines because they’re posted on Hubpages, Squidoo, or Ezinearticles.
To check this out, I used my Cherry Picker tool (if you’re not sure what this FREE tool is, read my article Cherry Picking An Internet Income Opportunity). Following are the results that I got:
Exactly what I expected – our Hubpages article has “0″ incoming links. In fact, 9 out of the top 10 sites that are ranking on the first page in Google has “0″ incoming links. Now, how easy would that be to beat?!
All you would have to do to beat any of these sites on page 1 of Google for those keywords is to do a little better SEO. Write and submit an article using those same keywords and build a few incoming links. Or, build a website using those same keywords and build a few links.
So, use this sneaky little trick to build your internet income opportunity!
Outdated Internet Income Opportunity SEO Tactics
| Search engines are always getting smarter, particularly Google’s. If you’re trying to take advantage of an internet income opportunity, you need to be aware that many of the “games” that webmasters use to use to get their websites ranked no longer work. |

Even though many SEO forums and SEO blogs still promote these tactics, some of these tactics don’t work and, and in fact, using them may set you back in Google’s rankings.
This article will examine 5 of these outdated tactics and offer possible alternatives.
KEYWORD STUFFING
Before search engine’s matured, using a keyword as many times as possible on a web page was a sure way to improve rankings. This was called “keyword stuffing”. Now, search engine algorithms are much more sophisticated and over-using a keyword on a page is a rankings no-no!
Alternative – For maximum impact, use legitimate SEO practices, such as:
- Use keywords in prominent portions of your Web page such as titles, headers, subheads, tags, and meta descriptions
- Use keywords as high up on the page as possible so that they can be easily found by search engines and people
- Keywords that are underlined, made bold, or italicized are easier for search engines to find
- Keyword density should be a maximum of 2-4%
- Write your content for people, not the search engines
SEARCH ENGINE SUBMISSION
I’m amazed at how many people still pay for search engine submission. I’m also amazed at how many Web developers still believe that search engine submission is necessary. Well, it’s not! Google’s search engine is so advanced that it will discover and index new content so fast that search engine submission is not needed.
Alternative – The best way to insure your new website is discovered is to get links pointing to it. Social media sites are ideal for this. For example, open a Twitter account and link to your new website or add it to your profile link. Google’s search engines crawl through Twitter constantly and the link to your new website will be discovered quickly. You can also use a site called Ping.fm where you can post a message and link to dozens of social media sites.
META TAG OPTIMIZATION
Search engine rankings to your internet income opportunity use to be influenced by meta tags (bits of info embedded in the area of a page’s code). This was particularly true with info placed in the “meta keywords” area. But, many website owner’s and SEOs abused the meta keyword attribute by putting misleading terms in this area that were unrelated to their content that Google has now officially said that their search engines ignore the meta keyword tag.
Alternative – If you want to add additional keywords to your website, try using category and tags to better label and organize your content. Searchability, functionality, and usability are enhanced by tagging your posts and pages.
LINK EXCHANGES
This use to be a very popular way to get links to your website. Reciprocal linking with other website owners and exchanging links to each others site was much the thing to do in the past. But, Google prefers to find “natural links” and has learned how to identify reciprocal links. A few of these does not hurt, but if you have a lot of these then Google considers this an intentional scheme to influence rankings – a violation.
Alternative – Avoid link exchange schemes. Instead, provide testimonials to other business ventures. Writing something favorable to other businesses is an easy way to get them to return the favor.
BLOG COMMENT SPAMMING
You still see this all the time! Webmasters intentionally leave comments on blogs with a link to their own website. This is called blog comment spamming. To deal with this problem, Google introduced nofollow link tags to tell search engine spiders to ignore this link. Most blogs now have this nofollow tag.
Alternative – Instead of spamming, leave genuine, creative, and helpful comments. This will attract naturally occurring editorial links links that search engines like so much better than comments on blog posts.
SEO is constantly changing. Avoid these outdated tactics or your internet income opportunity may be penalized.
Online Home Work Business Opportunities Should Be Based On Profitable Keywords
The keywords that you’re using are vital for any online business. That’s no secret. But, did you know that most people that are trying to take advantage of these online home work business opportunities are missing out on one key factor in their keyword research? And, what is that factor? It’s called keyword commerciality.
There are 4 Golden Rules in keyword research. These rules are:
1. Relevant – The keyword needs to be relevant to your site.
2. Traffic – The keyword needs to be capable of generating high levels of traffic.
3. Competition – The keyword needs acceptable levels of competition.
4. Commerciality – The keyword needs the potential to drive high levels of profit.
The first two rules are followed by almost everyone that’s been in the business even for a short amount of time. The last two are a different story.
If a keyword has too much competition, it will be extremely difficult to get the search engines to rank you on page one. Commerciality – the 4th Golden Rule. That’s what this article is about and what almost everyone ignores or seems to forget. And, it’s sooooo… important!
Think of each of your keywords as a pipe with a certain amount of monetary flow passing through it.
A high commerciality keyword is a large pipe with a strong cash flow. Find and use one of these keywords and you have a large profit potential.
A low commerciality keyword is a small pipe. Not much cash will flow through it. Use one of these keywords and you won’t make much money.
Every keyword you choose has the potential to not only attract traffic, but also to attract buyers. How many times have you heard a webmaster say that he worked for months to get his website up to page one on Google, but nobody bought anything? It happens all the time!
That’s because the keyword’s commerciality was not investigated before the keyword was chosen. That’s a BIG MISTAKE!
So, how do you measure a keywords commercial potential? The best tool that I’ve found for doing that and it’s one of my home work business opportunities arsenals of tools is called Market Samurai. The Market Samurai tool can do a lot of things for you, and one of them is to figure keyword commerciality.

Once this snapshot is taken, it is syndicated over the World Wide Web and readers can subscribe to your RSS feed or bookmark it. This enables them to stay abreast of your latest information that you’ve posted to your website or blog without having to actually go to your website.
Subscribing to RSS feeds to websites that visitors like is a growing phenomenon. That’s why Google created Google Reader. Google Reader enables people to stay on top of RSS feeds that they have subscribed to.
So, if a lot of visitors went to your website and liked what they found there and if they subscribed to your RSS feed, how do you take advantage of this internet income opportunity?

Rebranding An Internet Income Opportunity
I’ve found a terrific new website that can be of enormous help to affiliates, affiliate leaders, or to just about anyone trying to take advantage of an internet income opportunity.
Are you familiar with “rebrandable eBooks”? A rebrandable eBook is an eBook written on various topics of consumer interests that has links going to affiliate products. What makes these eBooks rebrandable, however, is that any affiliate can rebrand those links with his/her own affiliate ID’s. And, this is done automatically and almost instantly!
Imagine that! Any affiliate can get hold of an eBook related to his/her own niche and give it away for FREE. Unleash Floods Of Traffic To Your Internet Income Opportunity
Traffic is the biggest problem for anyone trying to take advantage of an internet income opportunity. Making a website is easy. Obtaining an affiliate product to sell is easy. But, neither one of these will make you a dime unless you can get traffic to them. And, that’s where most people fail.
Let me show you a way to unleash a flood of traffic to your internet income opportunity. This is a simple, but basically unknown technique. It involves four steps:
- Find the video (NO! Not make, FIND)
- Contact
- Negotiate
- Link
That’s it! Four easy steps to a flood of traffic. Now let me explain these four steps in a little more detail.
Step1
Find the video – Yes, find a video on YouTube that’s related to your website or product and one that gets lots of traffic.
Why YouTube? Because on some days, YouTube gets as many visitors as Google.
Why not make a video? Well, you can. But, who wants to do all that work? You would have to do good keyword/market research. You would have to make the video. You would have to promote the video and drive traffic to it…and that’s our problem to begin with.
So, go to YouTube and type in a keyword for your website/product in the search box and look for a video that has these three elements:
1. A minimum of 50,000 views to date.
2. Check the “Statistics & Data” info to insure that the video is still getting sufficient traffic. If you have not done this before, the picture below shows where to click to find this information.
Once clicked, you will get the statistical data delivered to you. It should appear similar to the picture below.
This particular example was a video about an owner playing with her dog. It might be useful to someone that had a website or product related to dogs or dog training. This video has been viewed 209,106 times since it was first viewed on March 29, 20010 and the bulk of those views have been made since April 5th. Traffic is still climbing.
3. Check to see if there is any affiliate link attached to the video. If an affiliate link is attached, pass on the video because the affiliate using it would know that he has a winner. The Affiliate would not likely sell it and if he would the price would be too high. If there’s not an affiliate link already attached, such as in the video above, you have found a video that holds potential for you.
Step 2
Contact the video’s owner – Send a private message on YouTube to the owner of the video and tell them that you enjoyed the video and would like to buy it. Don’t throw out a price, yet.
They will normally get back with you and ask, “How much?”
Step 3
Negotiate the price – Prices vary for these videos, but if there is less than a 1,000,000 views, I normally offer them $100-$300. If the videos are over 1,000,000 views, I will normally go up to $500-$800.
When you do this, you need to realize that you are not just buying the video – that’s not really what you are interested in. You are buying the traffic to that video – that’s where the potential for your internet income opportunity is at. And, to buy that traffic, you have to buy the seller’s entire YouTube account.
That’s usually not a big deal to the seller. The seller can always open another YouTube account and they can transfer any other videos they might have into that new account. But, you need the original account with this highly viewed video because that’s where all of the traffic is flowing to.
You’ll be surprised at how little you can buy these for. Most the time, these videos are just made for fun and they are flattered that someone would want to buy it. Nearly 80% of these viral videos are not related to affiliate marketers and they’re not aware of how much power their video could mean to an affiliate marketer.
After they ask, how much, negotiate with them until you can achieve a purchase price that both you and the seller are satisfied with.
When you make the transaction, use PayPal for the transfer of funds. If you send them the money and they don’t send you their YouTube user name and password, PayPal will usually reimburse you. PayPal usually protects the interests of the purchaser.
Step 4
Add your links – Once you’ve purchased the seller’s YouTube account, you can now go to that video and add your affiliate links – links to either your website or direct links to your product. You can also go in and add on-screen prompts into the video so that your website’s URL or product links pop up once or twice while the movie is playing. Now, you are in business with loads of free traffic!
Take a look at the profit potential. In this particular example, the video has been viewed 209,106 times during the last 12 days. That’s an average of 17,425 times per day. Google’s records indicate that visitors will click on links attached to these videos at a rate of 7.5%. If you take 7.5% of 17,425, that would mean that your link would be visited 1,306 times per day. This is highly targeted free traffic. If you had a 2% conversion rate, you would make 26 sales per day. If your commission (for example, on a dog training product) was $35/sale, your total commission would be $910/day!
That’s a nice commission – more than enough to pay for your original investment with only one day of sales. Viewers will be watching this video for years to come and that’s only one video – think about how many more of these you could get! That’s how to get a flood of traffic to your internet income opportunity and turn a nice profit.
Traffic Is Key To An Internet Income Opportunity
You cannot take advantage of any internet income opportunity unless you have traffic going to your site. And, I mean loads of traffic! At best, most internet marketers can expect a 1-3% conversion rate. So, that means for every 100 visitors to your website, you can expect only 1 to 3 sales.
How do you get traffic to your website? Well, one way is to pay for it. You can advertise your website on the search engines and drive traffic to your site. If you have tried this, you know how expensive this can be. Even after you have made a sale, you have probably lost money. Or, you can get free traffic to your website.
Getting free traffic to your website is what nearly every internet marketer wants. But, nearly 99% of those that try fail to get sufficient traffic to their website. They waste hours-upon-hours of time creating their websites and writing articles only to see that they are getting 15-20 visitors per day. They have wasted their time.
Why do 99% of those that try, fail? Because they have broken at least one of the three Golden Rules of internet marketing. These 3 Golden Rules are:
