Home Work Business Opportunities Using Facebook

Posted in: home work business opportunities |
Increase your home work business opportunities by advertising on Facebook. Forget Google Adwords! Facebook Advertising is so easy and you can target your market so much better. And, you can do it for pennies instead of the dollars that you’ve spent on Google.

Sure, Google still has more traffic than Facebook, by about 10%. I checked traffic estimates this morning and Google is getting 159.4 million visitors per month, but Facebook came in a close second at 145.4 million.

But, when you consider how much better you can target your customers with Facebook advertising, you’re much better off with Facebook.

In Facebook Advertising, you can target your audience by city, state, nation, or to the whole world. You can target your audience by language, age, sex, race, education, marriage, likes, dislikes, interests, and keywords. You can even target your audience by places where they work or even their date of birth.

The best way to figure out how to target your audience is to choose a website in your niche that ranks high on Google’s search page and submit that site to Quantcast. Quantcast will return to you a host of information that will help you target the best market for that product.

For example, let’s say you’re trying to sell an ebook on learning how to play bass guitar. If you go to Google.com and enter “learn how to play bass guitar”, the #1 site returned to you is “studybass.com”. If you enter “studybass.com” into Quantcast, you get the following information returned to you:

Now, with this information you can go to Facebook Advertising and target your audience to males, 13 years old or older, Caucasian, and with an income of $30,000 or more per year. That’s a highly targeted market.

If you haven’t advertised on Facebook before, following is a short video that shows you how to set up and get started with it:

I have three more tips for you on Facebook Advertising and home work business opportunities:

1. Include UGLY or UNUSUAL ad pictures – You want your ad to jump out at people. I see so many ads that use the standard beautiful picture. These don’t jump out at you – you expect it! Use a picture that nobody would expect to see so that have to do a double-take. Or, turn the picture sideways or upside down.

2. Avoid BANNER BLINDNESS – Change the appearance of your ad at least every other day. People get use to seeing ads and after a while their mind won’t even think about looking at the ad. Every other day either change the picture, or add a border, or change print colors, or add arrows. Change something!

3. Advertise for PENNIES – You have two choices for paying for your ads – either on a Cost-Per-Click (CPC) or on a Cost-Per-Thousand (CPM) basis. Don’t be afraid to examine both rates and choose the best one.

I was recently setting up an add and for CPC advertising, Facebook had a suggested CPC rate of $.99. That means that for every time my ad was clicked, I was going to almost have to pay almost one dollar.

But, Facebook’s suggested CPM rate was only $.43. That means that for 43 cents my ad was going be shown 1000 times. Which one do you think I chose?

Even if my ad got clicked only 1% of the time, I would get 10 clicks in those 1000 impressions – that’s $.43 for those 10 clicks using the CPM basis or $9.90 using th CPC basis.

That’s right, I chose the CPM basis for my advertising!

There are many more tips and tricks that you can learn in Facebook Advertising. And, if you would like to learn more, I would suggest taking a look at the Facebook Ads Guide. It’s full of helpful information!

And, if you do get into Facebook Advertising, the Facebook Ads Manager will save you a lot of time and increase your ROI. Remember, home work business opportunities are out there and Facebook Advertising is one of them. Give it a try!

GO Organic With Your Internet Income Opportunity

Posted in: internet income opportunity |

If you’re trying to make money or trying to get a message that you really believe in across the internet, then I urge you to do it organically. An internet income opportunity promoted organically costs so much less and is usually so much more successful.

Just in case you don’t know what I mean by “organically”, it means that you are not paying for it. It means that you are getting visitors to your website naturally.

There are two ways to get traffic to your site. One, is to pay for the traffic, such as through Google Adwords.

Secondly, is through normal search engine traffic, most importantly is Google, which accounts for 70% of the traffic.

Paid search on the internet is so expensive. I know, I’ve done it. Take out your wallet and never close it.

To be successful on the internet, you have to learn to do it organically. Don’t let anybody else tell you differently!

What this means is that if you want a lot of visitors to your website “naturally”, you have to be ranked on page  1 of Google – one of the top ten sites for your keyword.

Let me show you something. See the image below:

If you’re paying for visitors to your website, and if you are paying enough to get your ad listed at the top of Google’s search page, on average you’ll get 2-3% of the visitors to the page to click on your ad (these numbers are furnished by Google).

And, what about the ads on the right side of the page:

On average, they’ll get 1-2% of the clicks to the page. See below:

So, what does this mean?

It means that you’re so much better off to get your internet income opportunity’s website or squeeze page ranked on page 1 than you are to pay for traffic to it.

Take a look at the picture below:

According to Google, on average the #1 organic listing on their search page will receive 40-45% of all of the available clicks to that page.

The #2 listing will receive somewhere between 11-18% of the clicks; the #3 listing will receive 7-15%; the 4th through #9 listings will average about 2% each of the clicks and, surprisingly, the #10 listing will get slightly more at about 3% of all of the available clicks.

So, even if you’re on the bottom of page 1, you’ll get more clicks than if you were paying for the clicks.

Now, the key is to get your website highly ranked in the search engines. To do that, you need to thoroughly understand search engine optimization. You can get a FREE REPORT that clearly teaches you everything you need to know about this by reading my posting called Internet Income Opportunity SEO Training.

Go ahead and grab that report and download it for free. Search engine optimization are three big words, but this report will downsize them for you.

A Legitimate Business Opportunity Selling Websites Offline

Posted in: legitimate business opportunity |
Did you know that selling your website offline is a legitimate business opportunity and can make you a lot of extra cash? I know this is mostly unheard of, but why do what most web owners do and sell the websites that they’re tired of online at one of the auction houses? If your website is making you money, then it’s a legitimate business

that should be sold offline if you no longer want it or if you are in a desperate need for a pile of cash.

If you sell your website online at one of the auction houses, say Flippa, you are likely to sell it for 5-10 times what the average monthly income is for your site. That’s an industry standard. So, if you normally make about $200 per month from your website, you’ll probably be able to sell it for $1,000-$2,000 from these auction sites.

And, that’s not bad for websites that aren’t making a lot of money. You can sell your website quickly with almost no work and no hassles.

But, what if your website is making you $1,500 per month? Would you want to sell this legitimate business opportunity for $7,500-$15,000? Well, if you sold it from these auction houses, that’s probably all you would get.

Now, think outside of the box. Take that same website that’s making you $1,500 per month and sell it offline and now you can get between $36,000-$54,000. That’s an industry standard in the offline world.

That website that you own is your business. It’s a real business. Anything with an income is a business! So, sell it just like any other business such as a hardware store would sell their business – offline.

Businesses in the offline world normally sell for 2-3 times what their yearly income is. That’s 24-36 times their average monthly income!

Yes, it will be more work to sell it offline than online, but what would you rather have – $54,000 or $15,000? You may have to fly somewhere and have a face-to-face meeting with a prospective buyer. You may have to advertise in several newspapers or even a magazine. But, for a potential sales increase of $39,000, isn’t it worth it?

Certainly it is! It’s just that most website owners don’t think outside of the box.

Now, let’s go a bit further with this legitimate business opportunity.

What if you could buy a site online and sell it offline? BINGO!! A lot of potential money can be made (if you haven’t done so already, read my article An Income Opportunity Home Based Business Based On Flipping Websites for more details on this).

Some people will never think outside of the box or they need to sell quickly or they don’t want to do the extra work. For whatever reason, there will always be profitable websites on the internet auction blocks.

Keep your eye on these auction sites. Buy profitable websites online at the right price and sell them offline for big profits! This is a legitimate business opportunity made by thinking outside of the box.

Seasonal Internet Income Opportunity Websites

Posted in: internet income opportunity |

Until recently, selling informational products have been the “meat and potatoes” of what I’ve been trying to sell online. But, as I’ve said in one of my recent postings, I’m now focusing my internet income opportunity efforts on physical products. It’s a much bigger market with a lot less competition.

Probably the best types of physical products to sell are those that stay “evergreen” – products that sell all year long. For example, cosmetics. I’ve found cosmetics to be a good market and the products sell all year long. So, much of my work lately has been focused on building mini-websites in these types of markets.

But, there is also a huge market in seasonal products that I don’t want to ignore. Take for example, Christmas lights. Let me show you what that market looks like.

I went to Google Trends (this is one of my favorite tools!) and I typed in “buy Christmas lights”. Below are the results that were returned to me:

Note that there is almost no activity in this market until the last 2-1/2 months of the year – and then, the market explodes! And, what’s even better, the long-term trim shows an increasing market. This is certainly a market that I want to be in by October.

Google Trends also provides much more data that will help me set up my mini-website when I get to it. See below for a full page view of what Google Trends sent back to me:

Surprisingly, the largest region for buying Xmas lights online is Australia, and Ireland is second. The United States comes in third. I certainly want to take this into consideration when I set up my mini-websites to take advantage of this internet income opportunity.

Christmas lights are only one seasonal product – there are many others. For example, enter “buy Halloween costumes” into Google Trends and you get:

Once again, Halloween costumes are a huge seasonal product with a market that lasts only 2-3 months.

Let’s try “buy Valentines flowers” in Google Trends:

Valentines flowers are another good seasonal product that I will need to be in.

You could go on-and-on and find many seasonal products – and I’ve only looked at American holidays as a source for these products. There are hundreds of others in different countries and religions. There is the Chinese New Year and the Islamic Muharram – like I said, many others.

And, what’s ideal about these types of seasonal products is that they are perfect for building mini-websites around – the type that I recently discussed in a posting (if you haven’t read it, read Network Marketing Internet Business). Small websites that are tightly focused and should only take 1-2 days to build and promote.

Build enough of these mini-websites for these types of seasonal products and you’ll have an internet income opportunity that lasts all year long.

An Income Opportunity Home Based Business Based On Flipping Websites

Posted in: income opportunity home based business |
Making a consistent income on the internet can be a tough business. If you’ve been trying to create an internet income opportunity home based business and you’re just not getting anywhere with it, then try the strategy outlined in this article.

First thing, take a look at this website: Gable Attic Fan

Pretty simple website, right? It promotes one product (Gable attic fans), and has Google Adsense on it.

Well, this website was created less than 12 weeks ago, receives only 234 unique visitors per month, and has no backlinks pointing to it. No social bookmarking has been done with it. No directory submissions. Nothing! What’s amazing about this is this – This Website Sold At Auction Almost 4 Weeks Ago For $620 In Less Than 2 Days!!

Take a look here: http://flippa.com/auctions/97619

Now, take a look at this website. It has almost no traffic or income, but it sold for $2200 – WebHostingReview.org

And, now this one. No sales, but it does have some traffic – Belly Fat Site Sold for $1500

What I’m trying to point out is that you can beat your head against the wall and keep trying to sell products through affiliate marketing or you can start making sizable chunks of money by making, selling, and reselling of websites.

This is called “flipping websites”. These examples that I’ve shown you shows that there is a huge market for existing websites – even websites that are new, have little traffic, and almost no income.

So, you don’t have to build a website that will make you $10,000 per day. All you have to do is get a website rolling and then cash it in for some big money.

There are two avenues you can take down this road. One is to research and buy an existing website and resell it, or, two is to start a mini-niche site, promote it, and sell it to the highest bidder. Let’s look at the first avenue to begin with – buying an existing website and reselling it.

The best auction house that I’ve found for websites is Flippa. Go there and take a look around. It costs nothing to join.

Watch these auctions on a regular basis and after 1-2 weeks, you’ll have a pretty good feel for what a website should sell for.

What I like to look for are websites that have been in existence for 2 or more years and either, 1) Have traffic, but are poorly monetized, or 2) Sales, but little traffic. When I can buy these type of websites at auction for a low price, I know I’ll have money in my bank in the near future.

For the poorly monetized sites that have traffic, I’ll add new affiliate products, Google Adsense, and Text Link Ads. As soon as the website starts to make more money, I resale it at auction and put chunks of cash back into my bank.

For the sites that have sales, but little traffic, I go on a linking campaign. I write articles and submit them to Web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo and Ezinearticles, linking them back to the main website. I do press releases, directory submissions, social profile links, forum submissions, and leave remarks on dofollow blogs.

Links are the key to Google rankings and as the ranking to my website increases, the traffic to the website increases and so does the income. Ka-Ching! I sell the website at auction for big profits! (One thing that I do want to point out is that I don’t do all this work myself. I outsource a lot of this work to some very professional people at a very low cost. If you want to learn more about this, read my article Outsourcing Help For Your Network Marketing Internet Business.)

Now, let’s talk about the second avenue you can take – making your own mini-niche websites, promoting them, and selling them at auction.

Here’s how to do that:

1. Build your mini-niche site using highly focused keywords. For example, in the example of the website that sold above, Gable Attic Fan, the words “Gable Attic Fan” are one of the few keywords. This keyword is used in the domain name and URL. Google will give this website extra credits for doing that. Keep the website small – not over 5-8 pages.

IMPORTANT – Keyword research is the most important step to building an income opportunity home based business. You’ve found the “Goose that laid the Golden Egg” when you find a hungry, starving crowd that wants to buy and you find the keywords to dominate that market. I use the best tool on the market to do this with – it’s called Market Samurai. I build my sites similar to what is taught in the Google Sniper method, only I sell them shortly after I build them.

2. Write articles and submit them to Squidoo, EzineArticles, and Hubpages with links back to your mini-niche website. Google loves these three sites and not only will it help your rankings, but it’ll also drive extra traffic.

Also, submit ads to USFreeAds and link them back to your mini-niche website. For more information on this, read my article Is Bum Marketing A Legitimate Business Opportunity?

3. Create links back to your mini-niche website. Social bookmark the articles you submitted above to places like Digg.com and Reddit.com. I use an automatic service to do this with and it’s called Traffic Bug. This tool will also do directory and RSS submissions for you.

Ping the search engines with the RSS of each of your social bookmarks at Pingomatic.com.

Other great ways to make links to your mini-niche site is to visit other blogs and leave comments with a link back to your site. Do press releases, social profile links, and visit related forums – leave links to your site at all of these.

IMPORTANT – Be sure that you use your keywords in the actual link that you leave at each of these sites so that the search engines will give your keyword the credit for that link!

4. Monetize, monetize, monetize – and here are some ways to do that:

=> Clickbank, PayDotCom, Commission Junction – These are the three best known affiliate marketplaces. Commissions on many products are as high as 75% and that’s good extra income.

=> Google Adsense – Google’s own advertising network. Get paid to run ads on your website. Easy to install and visitors expect to see these ads.

=> 7Search and Adbrite – Alternatives for Google Adsense. These are reputable companies.

=>TextLinkAds – In addition to Google Adsense, 7Search, and Adbrite, you can place additional text link ads on your website. TextLinkAds is the best known, but they are sometimes picky. TextLinkBrokers is an alternative.

=> CPA Networks – There are a lot of these. CPA stands for “cost per action”. That means that your website will earn a commission when the visitor performs a certain action. It may be that they have to supply their email address, a zip code, or a number of other things.

To find one of these related to your website, go to Google search and type in “YourNiche +cpa network”. You’ll find several to choose from.

Use one or all of monetization methods. If one doesn’t work, swap it out for another.

Remember, on these mini-niche websites, your website only needs to start generating only a few dollars per month before you can sell it. You want to turn these over as quickly as possible and put big bucks in the bank.

Then, start another one and keep flipping. Within a short period of time, you’ll learn that you can make and flip websites very quickly. You’ll be working on several of them all at the same time. It’ll become routine. Flipping websites will become your income opportunity home based business.

Build Your Network Marketing Internet Business By Selling Physical Products – Part 2

Posted in: network marketing internet business |

(NOTE: This is the 2nd part of a two part series on Building Your Network Marketing Internet Business By Selling Physical Products. If you haven’t read Part 1, yet, you may want to do so by clicking HERE before proceeding)

Promoting and selling physical products on the internet is an easy process. What you need to keep in mind is not to over-complicate the process. Basically, it is a 3-step process: 1) Research, 2) Setup, and 3) Promotion.

STEP 1 – Research There are 4 key elements to research:

1. Your Chosen Market: Make sure that the market that you are choosing is one where there are “active buyers” on the internet. By that, I mean, there are some products that potential buyers will research on the internet, but when it comes down to buying they want to be physically touching the product before they buy.

I usually test this out by going to forums related to the product and check to see what the members are talking about. You can even join these forums and participate in them. For example, you might just come out and ask the members in the forum how many of them have bought product “XYZ” over the internet.

Make sure there are “active buyers” on the internet!

2. Your Product: Find a quality product that has name recognition, a reputable firm behind it, and allows affiliates to promote it. You want a product where you can make an easy sale.

3. Your Domain Name – You want to try to get a domain name that is the same name of the product that you have chosen to promote. For example, if you had chosen to promote Laars Pool Heaters, you would like to get a domain name like www.LaarsPoolHeater.com. You can also use .net or .org, but I wouldn’t choose any other extensions.

4. Your Keywords – Use Google’s Keyword tool and find 3-4 keywords that “active buyers” would likely use on the internet. For example, for Laars Pool Heater, I would likely look for and use “buy Laars Pool Heater”, “purchase Laars Pool Heater”, or just “Laars Pool Heater” if Google’s Keyword Tool returned these options to me.

Remember, Google’s Keyword Tool will only return words to use that have a history of being used on their search engine.

STEP 2 – Setup

Setup a simple website on WordPress.org. I’ve found this to be the quickest and easiest site to quickly setup simple websites for my network marketing internet business and Google just loves it!

There are two important WordPress plugins that you need to install into your WordPress admin panel. Be sure to install All In One SEO and Google Analytics. They are both free.

Your website should be between 3-8 pages long. Write an interesting review of your product and give them some information on the company’s background. If there are any special details that can help them to make a purchase decision (for example, “Next Day Delivery”), be sure to include that.

Don’t forget to call your reader to action. For example, you might say, “Buy Now” or “Purchase Today” – after all, that’s what we want them to do. Following is an example of a simple website used in the Laars Pool Heater example above:

See how simple of a site that is! Nothing fancy. It’s a 7 page site with 5 of those pages reviewing specific products.

STEP 3 – Promotion

Once your website is established and hosted, write another article related to the website and submit it to Squidoo, Ezinearticles, Hubpages or any other of the many article directories. Link back to your main website!

This job is made even easier if you use a tool like RapidWriter or ArticleMarketingAutomation. These tools were used in the Laars Pool Heater example and the website is on Page 1 of Google and Yahoo in under 4 weeks. For proof, see the picture below. This website was created in June 2010:

That’s it! That’s how you market physical products. With 3-4 hours of work, you can have a website up and running and promoted to Page 1 of Google and Yahoo.

Now, none of these simple websites are going to make you a fortune, but each one you create will make you a few sales per month – and they will do it for years to come.

Rinse and repeat this process. You should be able to create and promote 2-3 sites per day. In two short weeks, you should have 20-40 of these sites established and your network marketing internet business will be bringing you in a healthy monthly income stream.

(If you would like to learn more about promoting physical products, learn from the same course that I did – the Consumer Wealth System. The course is dedicated to teaching you much more about promoting physical products. It’s made a big difference in my network marketing internet business!)

Build Your Network Marketing Internet Business By Selling Physical Products – Part 1

Posted in: network marketing internet business |
Most network marketing internet bussinesses sell only informational products – products similar to those that you would find on Clickbank. And, it’s such a competitive market!

After all, almost every internet marketing course teaches their students to sell these type of products. In fact, I don’t know of one beginner’s course that doesn’t.

That’s why I’ve lately started to change my marketing efforts and I’m moving towards selling more physical products. It’s much larger and much less competitive.

Last year, physical products were a 210 billion dollar industry while informational products were only a 1 billion dollar industry. That means that the physical product industry is over 200 times larger than the informational product industry! Here are some other reasons why I like the physical product industry:

  • Higher traffic to sales ratio
  • Less refunds
  • It’s “Evergreen” – you can sell it now and years from now
  • Higher quality traffic and buyer frequency

People much prefer to buy a physical product versus an informational product. With informational products, people are always searching the internet to see if they can find their answers for “free”. With physical products, people have often made up their mind on exactly what they want and they are searching the internet only to find the best place to buy it.

Yes, commission percentages are usually much lower when you sell a physical product compared to an informational product, but you need to think in terms of dollars, not percentages. If you sell a $400 Nikon camera and receive an 8% commission, you would receive a $32 commission. That’s still more that if you sold a $50 informational product that was paying a 60% commission.

My network marketing internet business will always sell informational products, but my business is definitely branching out more into physical products – especially those physical products that have a higher price tag.

Where do I find physical products to sell? Well, there are many affiliate networks besides Clickbank that do have physical products that you as an affiliate can sell. Sites like Commission Junction and Linkshare have physical products. But, I usually use a different method to find businesses that are looking for affiliates.

Let’s say that you want to sell iPhones or iPhone related products. All you have to do is go to Google Search and enter iPhones +affilates and hit “enter” and you’ll get returned to you a listing of sites that are looking for affiliates to sell their iPhone products. See the image below:

Another method to use is to enter iPhone “affiliate program” into Google Search. You’ll get similar results.

Before you start promoting any product, informational or physical, you have to do your research. Research is so important to a network marketing internet business.

I don’t like to promote products unless they are growing in popularity. If the industry is dying, it will be difficult to sell products.

The tool that I use to check this with is called Google Trends. It will show the strength of the market for any particular product for the past 6 years.

For example, I was considering to start promoting camping equipment until I did some research on Google Trends. See the image below to see the results I got when I entered “camping equipment” into it’s search bar:

Camping equipment appears to be a slow dying industry – see the downward sloping line? I was shocked! Now, that doesn’t mean I couldn’t make money in that industry, but unless something turns that industry around, my income from the efforts that I put into it would probably keep going down. I decided to look elsewhere.

Next, I entered “buy iPhones” into Google Trends search bar and I got the following results:

Not only is buying iPhones a recent industry, but it’s booming and appears to be growing. These are all good signs!

Now, all I have to do is set up a very focused, but simple website dedicated to one, high priced iPhone product and promote it. Building that site and promoting it should not take but about 3 hours to do. After that, my network marketing internet business will be promoting another physical product online that has money making potential for years to come.

*Read PART 2 of Build Your Network Marketing Internet Business By Selling Physical Products*

(Note: For those of you who may be interested, much of what I’ve learned about promoting physical products I’ve learned from a new course called Consumer Wealth System – it’s all about promoting physical products. No, it’s not free, but it’s certainly helped my network marketing internet business and it should help you, too)
